The follow-on course
Completed our two-day course but still want to go further? Here’s the follow-on course...
Having completed one of our weekend courses, you will already have a very substantial ability in the language you originally chose to learn with us. However, as we have increasingly found, once people discover through us that they actually can learn a language, they frequently want to continue learning and to continue improving their language skills. For this reason, we now offer a home-based, third party produced follow-on course, which has been enhanced by the PNLI to make it the perfect next step for graduates of our weekend courses.
The course consists of four CDs and a workbook and focuses on the learner listening to and interacting with the CDs; the accompanying workbook then serves as guidance and supports the learner in further understanding and internalising what is covered on the CDs. In addition to this, we also provide each learner with six-month’s on-line support and tuition to assist them throughout their studies with the follow-on course.
The course can be used flexibly and completed according to whatever timescale best suits each learner; spending twenty to thirty minutes per day, the course can be completed in around six-months.
What will I learn?
The follow-on course will provide each learner with an extremely in-depth knowledge and understanding of the language they have chosen to study. Specifically, it will:
- allow you to practice and review what you learnt with us during the two-day course.
- allow you to reinforce the already strong grasp of grammar you acquired with us during the two-day course.
- allow you to further develop and practice your listening skills.
- allow you to further develop and practice your speaking skills.
- allow you to develop your reading skills.
- allow you to expand your vocabulary even further.
